Did you know that Bolivia as half of the known Lithium Deposits in the World? And you are thinking so what right? I mean how much lithium do the ADHD manic depressed people in the US need anyway? Well, the truth is not much, but lithium is used for a lot more than that. You've heard of "ion-Lithium" batteries right? Sure you have, you even own a few, did you know that? They are in your laptop, your cell phone and in all kinds of little electronic devices. That's a lot of lithium isn't it, think about it.

It gets worse, Evo Morales, the President of Bolivia has nationalized all the mines in the nation, and the government controls it all - meaning that they can hold the world for ransom and hold up alternative energy technologies the world over, thus, preventing electric cars that the average person can afford. Now suppose that the President of this small nation started taking bids from major International Companies to work the mine and manufacture the batteries in Bolivia.
And how can any international company trust Bolivia, after they have nationalized and stolen all the assets of previous companies that have done business in their nation? What if the world starts making electric cars and all of a sudden Bolivia has a revolution, or changes its mind or reneges on the agreements it is going to make.
Bolivia does not have the infrastructure to make these batteries. Any corporation that comes in must build power plants, water plants, roads, highways, housing, etc. Any international business consultant has to realize the risks associated with doing business with a socialist government known for stealing foreign assets with an international credit rating just above F-. Please consider this and beware.
